Comparing engines

Today I came to the realization that in order to truly asses which car has the highest performing engine, I must first understand which factors within the machinery are most relevant to its performance. Coincidentally, I had to understand how a motor functions, with this knowledge I was able to select the four main categories that I will be comparing within the magazine.

This is what I came up with:
1)Net power output
2)Weight/size
3)Efficiency
4)materials/durability/pricing

I will conduct individual research on each of the two engines and include a detailed comparison between the C63 & M3.

Gotta drive it to be able to talk about it

This morning I realized that I’ve driven one of the two cars that I am comparing in AutoTrend. I’ve driven the M3 but not the C63. I asked myself: well if I’ve driven the M3 but not the C63, shouldn’t I attempt to drive it so I have a more educated aspect of it? Obviously, I went on and called my uncle whom works at the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Miami Beach. I told him that I had this project coming up and I wanted to know if there was any way he could sneak me in for a test drive of the C63 AMG. He said, “my man, of course you can”. I went on later this afternoon and drove the C63 around the block a couple of times. This car is amazing. The sound, power and luxury, all mixed together in a beautiful sedan chassis. Since I drove the car, I can now speak more about the wonderful C63. As I research for more detailed specs of the car, I can understand more of what i'm reading and look back at the time I drove it.
I thanked my uncle for giving me this opportunity; because of him, my magazine will be more precise with its information.

Sometimes I just wish I were a Tech savvy!

Hello followers! First, I’m going to start my telling you all just how exhausted I am. I started off my day right with a nice breakfast because I knew that my day was going to be a long one. I had two tests and another to study for tomorrow. I got home, had lunch, and began to include the pictures I took the other day at the dealerships onto the magazine. It sounds easy when I say that I began to include the pictures but oh man, it was so difficult for me. I’ve never been a good editor. I’ve never really been good with technology. I remember perfectly the first editing project that I had in my Media Studies class. It took me over five hours to edit a slideshow of picture that was just over one-minute long. I spent my whole afternoon cropping and editing the pictures for AutoTrend. After struggling with the software for hours, I started to finally get the hang of it. I finished my day with all of the pictures just how I wanted them placed in the magazine.
